Died, at the residence of her son, Huron Burt, near Williamsburg, in Callaway county, on Monday, September 9, 1878, Mrs. Erretta Burt, widow of the late Maj. Geo. W. burt, aged 69 years. Her husband, Maj. George W. Burt, served in the war of 1812, when he was only fifteen years of age, and was captured by the British. He married Erretta VanBibber (the deceased), daughter of Maj. Isaac Vanbibber, and great-granddaughter of Daniel Boone.
