Obituary
Funeral services for Miss Belle Geigley, 83, were held at her home in this city yesterday afternoon with the Rev. T. E. Spurling officiating. Burial was in the local I.O.O.F. cemetery. Miss Geigley had been ill for some time and died at the home where she lived with her sister, Miss Alta Geigley, early Sunday morning. She was born in Champaign county, Illinois, near Macomb, on January 16, 1867, a daughter of William Harrison and Ann Geigley. She accompanied her parents to Missouri at an early age and moved to Shelbyville in 1908. Except for fourteen years spent in the state of Arkansas, Miss Geigley lived in Shelby county most of her life. She is survived by a sister, Miss Alta Geigley, of this city, and a brother Ed Geigley, of Green Ridge, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.
