Mable LeCompte Cunningham Guidry, 94, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Houma, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.


She is survived by four sons, LeeRoy, Horace, Lloyd and Jason Cunningham, all of Houma; two daughters, Roberta Fanguy and Anna Lee Parks of Bayou Blue; one sister, Laura Malbrough of Houma; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loveless Cunningham; her second husband, Harry Guidry; her parents, Nicholas LeCompte and Leodile Chauvin LeCompte; five brothers, Sidney, Ruffin, Harris, Ecton and Gilbert LeCompte; and one sister, Eugenie LeBlanc.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
