Henry Slade, 49, formerly of Soldiers Grove, died suddenly Monday, May 3, 1971, in Madison of an apparent heart attack.
Henry was born on July 5, 1921 to Emery and Flossie (Onstein) Slade.
He worked for 20 years as a custodian at Gisholt Machine Co. in Madison, WI. He was a veteran of World War II and was born and raised in Soldiers Grove, WI.
Henry married Agnes Eileen O'Shaughnessy/Snell, daughter of Paul and Susan (Gillitzer) O'Shaughnessy and the widow of Thomas Snell.
He was survived by his wife, Eileen; two step-daughters, Joanne(Joseph) Prew and Ellen Snell, and three sisters; Mrs. John Wubbenhorse, Mrs. Robert Rosemeyer and Mrs. Cecil Barlow.
