Michael I. Colvin, 51, Crane Operator at East Helena, Dies.

Michael I. Colvin, 51, a native of the Helena valley and crane operator at the ACM plant in East Helena, died Tuesday afternoon at St. John's Hospital, following an illness of three weeks.

Born in the Valley on Jan. 1, 1901, Mr. Colvin was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Colvin, well-known residents of the area.

For the past 11 years he had been a crane operator at the ACM plant in East Helena.

He was married in Boulder in 1933 to the former Ida Marie Cramer, who survives him. The family home is at 1836 Missoula.

Survivors also include seven children, Emma, George, Violet, Michael, David, Ethel and Tom, who attend Helena schools; two step-sons, Burton A. Cramer of Helena and Charles H. Cramer, who is stationed in the Navy at San Diego,; a brother, J.W. Colvin, Port Townsend, Wash; five sisters, Mrs. S. M. Munson, Helena, Mrs. Kenneth Donaldson,
Missoula; Mrs. Mabel Neiman, Woodinville, Wash.; Mrs. Wilbur Buckheimer, San Diego; Mrs. Arthur Williams, Seagorville, Texas.

The body is at Hagler Mortuary. Dr. George S. Morrell of St. Paul's Methodist church will officiate at funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hagler chapel. Interment will be in Forestvale Cemetery.

Pall bearers are Roy Bryson, Harold Milot, Earl Bryson, Frank Myles, Walter Warren and William Warren.
