He was the husband of the late Regina (Livelsberger) Conrad, who died on Nov. 14, 1985.
Born in McSherrystown, he was the son of the late James and Regina (Krichten) Conrad.
He was a member of Annunciation Church, McSherrystown and Knights of Columbus, McSherrystown. He was a retired insurance agent.
He is survived by one son, David L. Conrad of Palatine, Ill.; three daughters, Leona C. Gruzynski of Hunt Valley, Md.; Eugenia C. Tobin of Martinsburg, W.V.; and Joann Martin of McSherrystown; one brother, Dennis Conrad of Liverpool, Pa.; one sister, Rita Conrad of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four half-sisters, Delores Conrad of Atlantic City, N.J.; Helena Conrad, Loretta Conrad and Teresa Conrad, all of McSherrystown; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, meeting at the Hick's Funeral Home, McSherrystown, at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Annunciation Church at 9 a.m. His pastor, the Rev. Paul M. Miller, will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m.
