Jacob Cuddeback died at 9 o'clock last evening at his home, No. 320 West Pulteney street. He had been ill lately with stomach trouble, but had so improved that his physician had ceased coming to see him. He was taken suddenly worse last evening, and died before medical aid could be had. Death was doubtless due to heart trouble.
Mr. Cuddeback was 70 years old, and was a carpenter by occupation. He had lived in Corning for about fifteen years, coming here from Yates County, N. Y. He is survived by a
wife, two daughters, Mrs. F. Henry Perry and Mrs. Frank W. Townsend; and one son, Paul W. Cuddeback, New York Central telegraph operator, all of this city.
