Robert Kelly Ireton, 71, a resident of the Dry Creek community for 26 years, died Saturday at Converse Memorial hospital after a short illness. He was the son of Kelly and Altana Ireton. He was married to Elizabeth Bullard at Preston, Mo., June 8, 1898. The Iretons moved to Mullen, Neb., in 1913, living there until 1932 when they took up a homestead 50 miles north of Douglas. Mr. Ireton resided on the homestead until the past year when he moved to town. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Ireton, are four sons, Ernest, James F., Ralph A. and Fred R. Ireton, all of Douglas and vicinity; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Selby of Hazel Park, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
