Elizabeth M. Ireton passed away in Michael Manor Nusring Home where she had been a patient for a number of years. She was born in Marshalltown, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Robert Kelly Ireton June 8, 1898 in Preston, Missouri. To this union, five sons were born. The Iretons moved to Mullen, Nebraska in 1913 and in 1922 they moved to Wyoming to homestead in the Verse community where they remained until 1948 when they moved to Douglas. Mrs. Ireton was preceded in death by her husband Robert and infant son, Russell. Left to mourn her are her four sons, Ernest R. and Ralph A. of Douglas, James F. of Casper and Fred R. of Kelso, Wash; and one half-sister, Mary Pirkle of Cleveland, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. (Information was obtained from her obituary in the Douglas Budget Sept. 10, 1970 and cemetery records.)
