Maude Virginia Blankenship, wife of Kelly Blankenship, died Sunday at 1:00 o'clock at the family home near Rural Retreat at the age of 49 years. The funeral was held from the Crigger home on Pepper's Ferry Road east of Wytheville, this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The interment was in the family cemetery.
