Her obituary in the Carroll Chronicle, Carrollton, Ohio, Friday, January 10, 1930.

Mrs. Amanda Albaugh died Thursday at the home of her son, Floyd Albaugh (Note - It should read, Floyd Hosterman), in Mineral Ridge. Burial will be made at Kilgore, Friday, at 10:30, from the M. E. Church. She was 87 years old, widow of Eli Albaugh, and a life -long member of the M. E. Church. Her maiden name was Philpot. She was a former resident of Kilgore.
Surviving are two sons, Floyd with whom she made her home, and David Hosterman of Jewett; two daughters, Mrs. Berths Kohler and Mrs. Maud Kohler of Kilgore, and several grandchildren.

Note - Amanda was married before to a Enos Hosterman. When he passed a way she married Eli Albaugh.
