She was a member of Yorktown United Methodist Church, grew up and was a former member of Riverside United Methodist Church, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Eta Omega Chapter. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved working in her yard and flowers.
Surviving are her husband, Allen L. Casey, to whom she would have been married 50 years on April 22; two daughters, Pam Casey of Indianapolis, and Michelle Ayers (husband-Craig) of Muncie; two grandsons, Ryan and Dylan Ayers; her sister, Gloria Quesinberry (husband-Jack) of Winter Garden, FL; her brother-in-law, John W. Casey (Albany); her nephew, Rusty Jenkins; her nieces, Amy Rhode, Jeni McNeill, and Kathy Taylor; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Yorktown United Methodist Church, with Rev. Cindy Osgood officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at 2 p.m. on Monday at the church.
Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
