MIDLAND — Olive Alexandria Brooks Biggers of 13625 Barberry Ave., Midland died at 5:48 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at Carolinas Medical Center.
She was born Thursday, Oct. 15, 1925 in Cabarrus County and was the daughter of the late Roland Alexander Brooks and Sally Beatrice Green Brooks.
A member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland, Mrs. Biggers taught school at Locust Elementary and Bethel High School.
The family will meet at the home of son, Jim, 15553 Highway 601 S., Midland.Visitation will be at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland today from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A chapel service will be at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Clontz officiating.
She is survived by sons, John Timothy "Tim" Biggers and wife Cindy of Concord, James "Jim" Heath Biggers and wife Stephanie of Midland; daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Diss of Midland; brothers Carrel Brooks and John Bunyan Brooks, both of Concord; sister Eloise White of Stanfield; grandchildren, Lauren Biggers, Lindsay Biggers, Katherine Highsmith, Megan Biggers and Justin Diss.
