Henry Erskine Grigsby Sr. 77, rt. 1 Florence died Friday at 2:30 pm at ECM Hospital.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the methodist church.
Funeral services were held today at 2:30 pm at Harrison chapel with Rev George Bracy officiating. burial was in Cox Cemetery with Beecham funeral home of Loretto directing.
He is survived by the widow Mrs. Beulah Tidwell Grigsby, 4 sons, Lloyd, Paul, Lester, and Henry Grigsby all of the Muscle Shoals, 3 daughters Mrs. Henry Dial, Mrs. Leo Ray, Mrs. James Kilpatrick, all of Killen. brother Morris Grigsby, 4 sisters Mrs. Hattie Mcgee, Mrs. Fannie Peck, Mrs. Lucy Matheny, and Mrs. Bertha Behel all of Muscle Shoals, 22 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Dennis McGee, Jim Grigsby, Thurman Peck, Virgil Grigsby, Leonard Gordon, and Farris McGee.
