Grace Agnes Elsas is the daughter of Sebastian & Caroline Keller Elsas who's families immigrated to America from Germany. Grace married Harry Linton Altman February 27, 1890 in Livingston County, Missouri. Grace's mother, Caroline had died an early death leaving her husband to care for the children alone. When Grace & Harry married they took the two youngest of her siblings to raise. They then had four children of their own: Carrie Belle, Harold Earl, Dillie Lucille and Mildred Agnes. When Carrie Belle died she left two young children. Grace and Harry took in these grandchildren to raise. They lived long lives and had an amazing 71 years of marriage together before Grace passed in 1961.
