Mrs. St. John, 85, Dies; Rites Set For Today
Mrs. Mattie St. John, 85, died Sunday at 11:05 a. m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Herman Pate, 1201 Markham.
She was a member of Marlie Wallace Methodist Church and the widow of William St. John.
Survivors include one other daughter, Mrs. Talmadge Lynn of Troy, Mo.; a brother, George Ross of Fort Worth, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Louis Halley of Kansas City, Mo.; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 11 a. m, at Lindsey Funeral Chapel with the Rev Earl A. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
