He was born December 23, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Willard LeRoy and Lucy B. Eustance Healy. He married the love of his life, Joan Kizerian, in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 15, 1962. They enjoyed thirty-nine years of wonderful marriage.
Gordon worked for the Murray City Cemetery from the age of seventeen until his retirement as cemetery superintendent thirty-nine years later. He loved camping, hiking, and hunting with his boys in Southern Utah. He was very proud of the family he and Joan raised.
