Gordon Clark Healy, 59, passed away on March 19, 2002.

He was born December 23, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Willard LeRoy and Lucy B. Eustance Healy. He married the love of his life, Joan Kizerian, in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 15, 1962. They enjoyed thirty-nine years of wonderful marriage.

Gordon worked for the Murray City Cemetery from the age of seventeen until his retirement as cemetery superintendent thirty-nine years later. He loved camping, hiking, and hunting with his boys in Southern Utah. He was very proud of the family he and Joan raised.

Gordon was great at always finding a bargain and never settled for second best. He fought a long and hard battle with cancer for over five years. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family at his side.

Survivors: wife, Joan; children, Lori (Dayle) Emms, West Jordan; David (Debbie) Healy, West Valley City; and Kean (Shannon) Healy, West Jordan; two grandchildren, Colbey Emms and Dylan Healy, whom he loved and adored; and brothers and sisters, Jim Healy (Rae), Larry Healy (Carol), Gail Kelly (Jack), and Cherry Jensen (Kent). Preceded in death by his parents.

This isn't goodbye, but until we see you again--rest in peace.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2002 in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), where friends may call on Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
