MULLINS - Brad Ammons, 68, of Mullins died in a local hospital early Saturday following two years of declining health.
He was the son of the late Ervin and Florence Blackman Ammons and was born in Marion County where he lived all his life.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Harper, will be held at the residence of Mrs. Gary Rogers at 3 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, L. B. Ammons and Baker Ammons of Nichols, Lee Ammons of Tampa, and Arthur D. Ammons of Chesterfield; three daughters, Mrs. Gary Rogers and Mrs. Ira Hatfield, both of Mullins, and Mrs. Star Shelley of Aynor; two sisters, Mrs. Jap Lane of Mullins and Mrs. Pink Stephens of Tabor City; and 25 grandchildren.
