JAMES WADDELL LAMONT
James Waddell Lamont, 82, of 1891 N. Euclid Ave., Upland died from a heart ailment at 3:30 a.m. today at the San Antonio Community Hospital, Upland, after an illness of three days.
The cirtus rancher was a native of Nebraska and a resident of California for 27 years. He moved to Upland from Claremont 19 years ago. Hew was a member of the Upland Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, Alta, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd McCallum, Cucamonga; a son, James W. Lamont Jr., Fresno; a sister Mrs. L. W. Shuman, Long Beach and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Pomona Mausoleum with the Rev. Trusten A. Hart, Upland Presbyterian minister, officiating. Stone Mortuary of Upland is in charge of arrangements.
