James' mother's maiden name was Sarah Ward. Her first husband was James Dillon, and her second husband (James' father) was George Achor. I have always suspected that James D. Achor's middle name was Dillon and that he was named after his mother's first husband and/or her first child (both of whom were named James Dillon), but I have no proof of that. -- Jay Wright
