Charles R. Barkley, 75, passed away Jan. 29, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna; children, Greg Barkley and Raeann (Mike) Ast; grandson, Kyle Ast; sister, Joyce Thomas; brother, Marvin (Rosalee) Barkley; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy. Charles retired from US West in 1989 after 30 years of service and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #145. Memorial service 10 a.m. Friday at Imperial Chapel, with interment in Imperial Memorial Gardens. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home.
