Ethel Shellenberger, made her transition to another dimension of life March 30, 1991, at Pueblo Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Pearl "Shelly" Shellenberger, and son, Larry Shellenberger. Survived by her son, Don (Kathy) Shellenberger; daughter, Shirley (Richard) Lane, both of Pueblo; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ethel and family lived in the Vineland community for many years and presently resided at the Aztec apartments. She was a member of First Friends Church, a quiet supportive person, thankful for family, friends and grandchildren. Her great joy was working with school children in the public school system and privately. She not only helped them academically but instilled a faith in themselves to learn more. At her request, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Interment, Roselawn, Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all those who contributed so generously to her care, and those who have shown such loving kindness during her life and hope you will join them as they silently and prayerfully release her on her way into a new experience of life. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers and those who desire may make memorials to Dream Weavers of Southern Colorado, in her memory, through the funeral home office.
