Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Abercrombie Hollifield,wife of V. Garner Hollifield, were held at graveside in VanHook Cemetery on Cut Cane June 29, 1951. Surviving are her husband, one son, Mark Hollifield of Culberson, NC. three brothers, Spurlin Abercrombie, of Morganton, Ga. Suril Abercrombie of Copperhill, TN, and Ervin Abercrombie, of Culberson, NC. and four sisters, Ms. Cora Hayes. Miss Mandy Abercrombie, Miss Mary Abercrombie, and Miss Winnie Abercrombie all of Morganton, GA. Funeral services were conducted fro the Allen Funeral Home.
