Thomas Simeon Booth, age 76, went to be with our Lord Jesus, on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012.

Tom was born and raised in Pine Village, Indiana. Tom served as an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. Throughout most of his life, he worked as a Senior Field Engineer for Honeywell. He loved Arizona and moved to Payson in 1991.

He had many talents, some of which included singing and playing different musical instruments. He had many hobbies and really enjoyed his retirement in the 20 years he lived in Payson. Hiking the desert with his dog Splat, fishing, playing computer games, painting and solving crossword puzzles were some of the activities he enjoyed the most. Tom was a warm, caring member of the community who served as a dedicated and willing volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Many will remember him for his quick wit, warm smile and inspirational work ethic.

Tom is survived by his wife; Linda, his children; Michael and Christine, stepchildren; Joe, Dennis, and Veronica, grandchildren and step grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Messinger Mortuaries on Monday, Jan. 30.
