Michael Benjamin "Ben" Booth, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away June 23, 2009.

Born in Pine Village, Indiana, he was the son of the late Forrest Simeon Booth and Helen Jeanette Booth.

Mr. Booth served for 20 years in the United States Navy and was a Data Processing Programmer. He attended the North Palm Ministry Center of North Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Nicholson Booth; a son, Timothy Booth and wife, Terri; a daughter, Jeannette Del Re and husband, James; Timothy and Jeannette's mother, Irene Booth; two step-sons, James Goude and wife, Amanda and David Goude; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas Simeon Booth and wife, Linda. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia Booth.

Mr. Booth was preceded in death by his sister, Helen C. (Tina) Holland, and his brother, John H. Booth, both of Lafayette, IN.
