This community suffered loss of one of it's best and noblest women when Mrs. Alice McQuiston Lovell, wife of T.A. Lovell was called to her reward last Thursday evening after four months of intense suffering. Had been in poor health for a number of years, but since first of July her condition was alarming and her family were constantly at her bedside to care for her... Member of Stone church for a number of years and funeral was at home Sunday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. Witherspoon, assisted by Rev. Homer Davis, after which remains were taken to Stone church cemetery for interment. Survived by husband, one son and seven daughters, also aged father of Kansas. Winnie, her second oldest daughter, preceded her to grave just twelve days prior, having died from effects of operation...
