Norman was born in Rosebud, Texas, to the late John and LaVena Brown Ward. He was retired after working for General Tire and Marlin I.S.D. for many years. Norman loved sports, coaching Little League, minor league, and pony league for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He also loved his dog, Jackson.
Norman was preceded in death by his twin brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Bremond; sons, Johnny Ward, of Bremond, Jeff Ward and wife, Tanya, of Marlin, Ricky Ward and wife, Pam, of Durango, Mark Ward and wife, Jackie, of Temple; daughter, Donna McGuire and husband, Mike, of Waialua, Hawaii; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Orval Ward and wife, Carolyn, of San Antonio, Doug Ward and wife, Pam, of Granbury, and Dean and Vincy Ward, of Cypress; and many other family members and friends.
