Died of pneumonia following an attack of influenza, his death occurring at Liverpool, England, while on his way for service in France with the American Forces. He was a private in a Casual Detachment, sent overseas from Camp Funston, Kan., as replacement troops for the 89th Division. Private Anderson was born July 29, 1892. He entered service June 10, 1918, and after a brief training was sent overseas to join the 89th Division.
