Mrs. Ada Williams Manly, 88, died Nov. 1 at Candler Hospital.
She was born in Brooklet and lived in Savannah most of her life. She graduated from Bolyn Haven High School in Jacksonville, Fla., and studied at School of Arts and Design in Philadelphia. She was a master seamstress and a member of Asbury Methodist Church.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Lewin R. Manly and Rita A. Manly of Atlanta; a grandson, Charles E. Manly of Tampa, Fla.; a granddaughter, Lauren Manly of Mali, West Africa; and two nieces, Dorothy Taylor of Savannah and Eleanor Kelley of Jacksonville.
FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Friday at Asbury Methodist Church, burial in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
REMEMBRANCES: Scholarship Fund of Asbury Methodist Church.
