Born Jan. 31, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Mary Loretta Winecoff Barnhardt and Martin Luther Barnhardt. She had worked as a winder hand and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Concord.
Mrs. Shoe was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Frank Shoe and three children, Wanda Storey, Ann McDaniel and Albert Shoe.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Shoe, Luther Herman Shoe and Bobby Shoe, all of Concord; two daughters, Shirley Eloise Almond of Concord and Margie Kiser of Kannapolis; two brothers, Carl Barnhardt of Concord and Henry Barnhardt of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Gertrude Burch of Concord and Katherine Aldridge of Concord; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
