T. H. BRODNAX
Mr. T. H. Brodnas of the 8th Ward died at a sanitarium in Monroe Thursday of last week, following an operation for appendicitis which developed on Tuesday preceding. He was in his thirtieth (30) year and unmarried.
Mr. Brodnax is survived by two brother:
J. W. Brodnax
J. T. Brodnax
Three sisters:
Mrs. Ora Braddock
Mrs. Jim Braddock
Lillian Payne
All of whom reside at or near Collinston
Mr. Brodnax was a valued employee of the Southern Carbon Company and was highly regarded by his employers and all who knew him. The funeral took place in Bastrop at the Old Cemetery Friday morning. Following religious services a delegation of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan appeared at the grave and paid silent honors of the order to his memory.
