Mrs. Patteson was well known in this community, and had many friends who were shocked at the news of her untimely passing. She leaves her husband and three children, Charles, Jr., 4; Betty Lou, 3 and Nancy 2. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Felts of this city and four brothers: J.H. Felts, Corpus Christi, Texas; Dr. R.C. Felts, and Dr. H.V. Felts, both of San Saba, Texas, and L.B. Felts of Louisville.
Mrs. Patteson was an accomplished musician and spent some years teaching. She was devoted to her home and her family. She was a member of the local Baptist Church, to which she remained faithful until death.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, to which she remained faithful until death.
