The funeral for Dr. Homer Vick Felts, 82, was Aug. 21, 1990 at First Baptist Church of San Saba, Texas. The Rev. Jack Riley of First Baptist Church of San Saba and the Rev. John Reynolds of First United Methodist Church of San Saba officiated. Burial was at San Saba City Cemetery. Felts died Aug. 19, 1990 in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born July 9, 1908, in Russellville, Ky. He married Mary Lois Harding on July 15, 1938, in Houston. She died Feb. 13, 1983. He married Anita Owen in June 1985 in San Saba. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Felts, formerly of Campbellsville College. The retired dentist had lived in San Saba since 1932. He was a member of First Baptist Church of San Saba where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Sonshine Choir of First Baptist Church of New Braunfels. He had been a member for 35 years of Lions Club and served on four different councils for aging. Felts had served for 12 years on the board for Howard Payne University. Survivors include his wife, Anita Felts of San Saba; daughters, Jane Browning Mauldin of New Braunfels and Mary Harding Luker of Austin; step-daughter, Barbara Gilger of San Saba; brother, Dr. R. C. Felts of San Saba; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Dick Felts, John Felts, Jack Felts, Ricky Felts, Charles Felts, John Luker and Troy Gilger.
