Bertha Hail

Former longtime Seminole resident Bertha Boatman Hail died Friday, Oct. 03, at Westbury Nursing Home, in McDonough, Ga., at the age of 98.

She was one of 19 children. Her parents were Joshua and Etter (White) Boatman. She was born in Oney, on Aug. 7, 1910.

She is survived by four sons; Willie Hail, of McDonough, Ga., Willis Hail, of Clarksville, Tenn., William Hail and Willard Hail, both of Hennessey, and one daughter, Wilburta Flanders, of Freemont, Calif.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Louis Byers, daughter, Vivian Byers, and eighteen brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2p.m., Sunday, Oct 5, at the Little Chapel, at Little Cemetery. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
