King F. Harvick, a son of Adam & Minnie Harvick, and Elender Kennedy were married November 11, 1845, in Rusk County, Republic Of Texas according to Rusk County, Texas Marriage Records. Phonic spelling on marriage record was Harwick. King Harvick and wife Elender "Ellen" L. Kennedy were born in Illinois. Their third born child of eleven children was Susan Elizabeth "Lizzie" Harvick, born May 15, 1850 in Smith County, Texas.

John Sevier Hanna and Mary Olivia Adrain Hanna were parents of John Adrain/Adrian Hanna, born July 25, 1842 Randolph County, Alabama - died May 7, 1889, Runnels County, Texas. (He was named middle name of Adrain to honor his mother's maiden name.) Mary Olivia Adrain Hanna died about 1849/1850 in Alabama.

John Sevier Hanna married Jane Riddle sometime after his first wife died. Young lad John Adrain Hanna journeyed with his father John Sevier Hanna (born June 24, 1815 Rhea County, AL), step mother Jane Riddle (born 1822 TN) and siblings from Alabama to Texas in 1854. John Sevier Hanna chose about 1000 acres along the banks of the Bosque River in Bosque County and settled there. On the 1860 US Census Bosque County, John S. Hanna is listed age 45, birth Tennessee, Stockman as occupation. He was a leader in the open frontier and served as a Captain in Texas Rangers earning the respect of many. He eventually became a wealthy land owner after years of hard work.

John Adrian Hanna's father John Sevier Hanna died September 24, 1882 Bosque County, Texas, and was buried on his land near where he had buried a neighbor years about 1859 whom Indians had killed. This became known as Hanna Cemetery where several family and friends were buried through the years. In the 21st century some graves are legible but many graves are unknown with headstones worn and broken. The cemetery is on private land though accessible.

John A. Hanna served as 2nd Sgt. Co A, 8th Texas Cavalry, Confederate States of America during the Civil War. John A. Hanna returned home after the war ended.

John A. Hanna and Lizzie Harvick were married November 15, 1866, Bosque County, Texas. Their first seven of nine children were born in Bosque County, Texas.

John A. Hanna and Lizzie Hanna moved to Runnels County about 1885 where their two youngest children were born. Their children were:

2. Ellen O. Hanna: b September 19, 1870 Bosque County, Texas - d September 26, 1870 Bosque County, Texas.INFANT. Burial unknown.

3. Sallie King Hanna: b February 27, 1872 Bosque County, Texas - d March 4, 1961 Albuquerque, Bernadillo Coounty, New Mexico. Her middle name of King was in honor of her maternal Grandfather King Harvick, her mother Lizzie Harvick's father. Paint Rock Cemetery, Tillery Family Plot, Concho County, Texas. Married William Ashley Tiller Sr, called Ashley Tiller, December 4, 1890 Content, Runnels County, Texas. Double wedding with her sister Edna Hanna & John Thomas Tillery, who was an Uncle of William Ashley Tiller. William Ashley Tiller: b November 11, 1871 Howe, Grayson County, Texas - d November 1955 Big Spring, Howard County, Texas. Two beloved sons died in world flu pandemic in 1918, William S. Ashley Tillery & Newton Copeland Tillery. They also had a son, Lt. Cmdr. Richard A. Tillery USNR served World War I and World War II. All buried Paint Rock Cemetery, Concho County, Texas.

Lizzie gave birth to their ninth child, a daughter, Jonnie Hanna whom she named after her husband. She was born about four months after her father died. Lizzie Hanna his widow (who never remarried) and their children eventually moved to the Paint Rock, Concho County, Texas area where she lived the rest of her life. Lizzie's widowed mother Elender "Ellen" Harvick was said to have died in 1914 while living with her daughter at Paint Rock, Texas and was buried in Paint Rock cemetery, no headstone.

Lizzie Hanna died Jun 28, 1920, at 70. She did not have an easy life, but lived a life filled with purpose and had children who loved her dearly. She was buried in Paint Rock Cemetery. Five of their nine children were later buried there: Sallie Lee (Hanna) Tillery & husband William Ashley Tillery, George Washington Hanna, John Adrian Hanna, Ole Earl Hanna, and Jonnie (Hanna) Barr, and some descendants.
