May Lee Clement Pierce, of Grapevine, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

Born May 11, 1924, in Grapevine, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Nancy Hattie Ginnett Clement.

She was reared and received her early education in Grapevine, graduating from Grapevine High School.

She and Milford Cline Pierce were married March 22, 1945. May Lee was a home maker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Rison United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Cline "Red" Pierce; a son, Martin Pierce and a daughter, Beth Ruffin.

Her survivors include two sons, John Pierce, of Pine Bluff and Freddie Pierce, of Grapevine; three daughters, Linda Stewart, of Austin, Texas, Dianne Abington, and Janie Rogers, both of Russellville; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service were in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. Burial was in Black Cemetery.
