Alexander was the husband of Emma Lynch married in 1915, father of Alexander Jr., William & Anna. Son of Johannes & Anna, older brother of Margaret, Matilda, Bertha, Selma, William, Edward, Marie(Mary) & John. He was a machinist who worked for the Dallett Co. 165 W.Clearfield in Philadelphia, making chisels and carving tools. In June of 1904, Alexander became a hero as he was one of five men, whose boat was overturned in a storm on the Delaware River. Alexander and one other man saved two others from drowning. The fifth man drowned. Alexander served in WW1 at the age of 39 and tried to register for WW2 at the age of 63.
