Marie was the daughter of Anna & John Schmid (both deceased), widow of Harry Harmening Saunders Sr. (married Dec. 27, 1916). Mother of Catherine, the late Harry Jr., Anna, Edward, William, Marie, Betty, Bobby, & Raymond. Grandmother of 32 and great-grandmother of 25. Survived by one brother John Schmid of Havertown, Pa. She lived most of her life in Albion, NJ. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. She was not fancy, but more a simple woman. (Note: her official death date is Feb. 22,1977, but that was the date that her body was discovered. The family believes she died the night before after going to bed.)
