BUCYRUS: Esther M. Loftis, 79, most recently a resident of Altercare of Bucyrus passed away Friday at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Esther was born July 14, 1932 in Attica to the late Everett Goin Sr. and Emma (Bradshaw) Goin. She was married February 2, 1954 to Lillard D. Loftis who preceded her in death on December 23, 1988.
In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by brothers, Everett Jr and Cecil; as well as sisters, Irma and Jane.
Esther is survived by children, Ricky of Chatfield, Danny of Brokensword, Larry of Sycamore, Teresa Jack of Florida, Kristi Oney of Sycamore, Charlia Schuler of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brothers Paul, Galion, Floyd, Carrouthers, Sam and Robert both Bucyrus, Raymond of KY; sisters, Imogene Brown, TN, Marilyn Russell, TN, Mary Prince, Bucyrus, Violet Hammons, Carrouthers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Esther was a homemaker and member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Charles Brooks officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
