PROVO - Word has been received here of the death, from diabetes, at Garfield, of Mrs. Gertrude Smith Tingey Riley, wife of J.W. Riley of Garfield and sisters to Presiding Patriarch Hyrum Smith of the LDS Church.
Mrs. Riley was formerly a Provo resident and is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. H.F. Smith of Provo; three brothers, Patriarch Smith, John G. Smith of Salt Lake City, R. G. Smith of Provo, and two sisters, Mrs. Lynn Haws of Provo and MRs. Ruth S. Billings of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held in the Murray undertaking parlors Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Provo City Cemetery.
