James Johnston of Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, of sound mind and memory;
Unto my loving wife Jane the dwelling house we now reside in and lot attached thereto, and one third of all grain on the farm land and one cow kept for her own use summer and winter;
Robert Simpson is to get her whatever she will need to keep her comfortable during her lifetime;
She is also to receive all my household and kitchen furniture and at her decease, all the personal property is to be equally divided between my three daughters;
To my son Thomas $1.00;
To my son James $10.00;
To my son William $20.00;
To my daughter Mary Jane $20.00;
To my daughter Sarah Ann Armor $10.00;
To my daughter Elizabeth Norris $10.00;
To Robert Simpson all the houses and lots in the town of Fairfield and the farm adjoining the said town, and all notes due, and all personal property; he is to have all management of all the aforementioned property but not to have the little invested in him until after the decease of his mother, then to have the title invested in him in full.
