Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.

LONG BEACH --- James E. Ainsworth, 86, died Wednesday, April 25, in Biloxi.

Mr. Ainsworth was born in Harrisville and had lived in Long Beach for 21 years. He was a 24-year Navy veteran and was a civil service employee for 12 years. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Ainsworth.

Survivors include two daughters, Clare Ainsworth of Gulfport and Martha Leedy of Moorestown, N.J.; two sons, James T. Ainsworth of South Windsor, Conn., and Charles T. Ainsworth of Long Beach; a brother, Roy Ainsworth of Mendenhall; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in D'Lo Cemetery directed by Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport.
