Flois "Murphy" Murphy Jr., 82, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at his residence.
He was retired manager of Amerigas and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at in the chapel Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Dodd and Bro. Tommy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Millie Weaver Murphy of Dyersburg; two daughters, Janet Greer and husband, Jack, of Dyersburg and Carole Tweedy and husband, Jerry, of Plumerville, Ark.; two sons, Ron Murphy and wife, Wanda, of Cordova and Tommy "T.C." Barrineau and wife, Nancy, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Rose Napier and husband, Howard, and Betty Dunn and husband, Charles, all of Union City; a brother, Robert "Bob" Murphy and wife, Patricia, of St. Claire Shores, Mich.; six grandchildren, Melissa Braubaker, J.J. Glover, Tod Tweedy, Ashlee McCollum, Sabrina Murphy and Rhonda Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Flois Murphy Sr. and Ethel Arant Murphy; a sister, Glenda Fair Polston; a brother, Cleo Murphy; and a great-grandson, Andrew Joseph Glover.

Pallbearers will be Todd Tweedy, Jeff McGehee, Matt McGehee, Josh McGehee, Paul Rose and Stephen Safaeih. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hill, James Purnell, Johnny Smith, Sammy McGuire Jr., Walt Moore, Kenneth Jones, Sammy McGuire Sr. and Kevin McGuire.
