Ruth Ann Bentley, 56 of Left Fork of Long Fork, Virgie passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born in Pike County on November 29, 1954 to the late James and Emogene Meade Adams.
She was a member of the Speight Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Felix Burke and Douglas Adams and one sister; Maude Burke.
She is survived by her husband; Darrell Bentley, one son; Travis (Ronda) Bentley of Pewee Valley, one daughter; Jill (Mark) Bentley-Athy of Virgie, two brothers; Duke Adams of Collins, Tony Adams of Long Fork, three sisters; Ruby Bentley of Long Fork, Ivalene Bentley of Elkhorn City, Sandy Wallace of Elkhorn City, three grandchildren; Morgan Paige Bentley, Matthew Blake Bentley and Mason Riley Athy.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home with Brad Taylor and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Frank Tackett Cemetery at Long Fork. Visitation will begin on Friday after 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with nightly services beginning at 7:00 P.M.
