Daniel Wing died suddenly Nov 7, 1914, aged 85 years. He was the last member of his family, his brother Theodore having died a few weeks ago. His father, the late Mahlon Wing, formerly owned much of the land which is now the site of the village, and the homestead in which the deceased has resided nearly all his life, is one of the oldest dwellings in this section. In middle life, Mr Wing married Miss Louisa Gregory, who died many years ago.
