Former Winnebago Woman passes away Mrs. Sarah Anna White, sister of the late M. A. Alvey, of this city, and for years a resident of Winnebago, died at St. Barnabus hospital, Minneapolis, Sunday, February 24. The deceased was born in Winnebago February 20, 1876, and grew to womanhood here. June 20, 1892, she united in marriage with John Farlow White, the ceremony taking place at Blue Earth. To this union were born six children, five of whom are living; Mary, wife of O. H. Jeffers, at Moberly, Mo.; Jane, wife of C. L. Bartholomew; Misses Gladys, Sarah and Elsie and John Marshall White, all of Minneapolis. Mrs. White was one of three children, a brother, M. A. Alvey and a sister having preceded her in death. A sister, Mrs. R. R. Wallace, lives in Minneapolis. Mr. White passed away a year ago. Two grandchildren are also left to mourn the passing of a kind and loving mother's care. Funeral services were held this Thursday morning, with burial at Bass Lake cemetery, Rev. E. H. Knehans officiating.
