Clarence J. Tembruell, a resident of Owatonna, died Oct. 13, 2006, at his home following an extended illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Oct. 14 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward McGrath officiating. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
Clarence was born June 26, 1924, near Pierz to Christ and Theresia (Loidolt) Tembreull. He attended country school in Morrison County. Clarence joined the Navy in 1946 as Fireman First Class and was honorably discharged in 1948. On Sept. 5, 1950, he married Armella Motschke in Beckman. They made their home in Owatonna, raising four children. Clarence worked as a mechanic earlier in his life and then worked as a tool grinder at the former Owatonna Tool Company for 32 years, retiring in 1986. His life interest included gardening and woodworking and using his skills to serve others. Clarence will be remembered for his strong work ethic and personal integrity. The family is very grateful to the many people who have helped Clarence and Armella in recent years.
Clarence is survived by his daughters Janel Tembreull of Owatonna, Anne (Michael) Kubiatowicz of Eau Claire, WI; his sons Neal Tembreull of Zumbrota and John Tembreull of Roseville; grandchildren Andrew, Jason, Sarah, Daniel and Rachel Kubiatowicz, all of Eau Claire; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Armella, four brothers and six sisters.
