SPANISH FORK WOMAN DIES

SPANISH FORK--Mrs. Laura L. Christensen, 81, died in Provo Friday of causes incident to age.

She was born June 24, 1878, at Springdale and was the daughter of Christian and Lora Gifford Christensen.

She married Hyrum Dalton in 1901 at Springdale and later received her endowments in the St. George LDS Temple. Her husband died November 3, 1942. She made her home in Spanish Fork from 1927 until 1958 when she moved to Springville to reside with her daughter. She received her early education in Springville schools.

She is survived by four sons, H. C. Dalton, American Fork; Cecil Dalton, Riverton; Christien Dalton, Kearns; Raymond Dalton, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Millie McClain, Springville; Mrs. Ora Nielsen, Nephi; and Mrs Arch (Deveola) Bartlett, Springville; one brother, William Christensen, Salt Lake City; one sister, Mrs. Christine Washburn, Monroe, 47 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Spanish Fork Fourth-Eleventh LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Grant Jensen officiating. Friends may call at the Claudin-Linde Mortuary Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Springville.
