Eileen Thackery, 61, 840 Barachel Lane, Greensburg, died at 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 1990 in the Decatur County Hospital.
She was born Jan. 21, 1929 in Greensburg, the daughter of Ralph W. and Elva Tremain Anderson. She was a member of the Living Word Ministries Church and was a beautician in the Westport area for many years. She was an employee at the Muscatatuck State School.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Thackery,Indianaolis; three daughters, Mrs. Daryl (Sue) Fry, Greenwood, Ind., and Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Powner and Brenda Thackery, both of Greensburg; two brothers, Ralph Anderson, Minneapolis, Minn. and Willard Anderson, Greensburg; one sister, Alma Gant, Westport, Ind., and five grandchildren.
Norman Schlemmer III will be the officiating clergy at the funeral in the Bear Creek Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Monday.
Burial will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery located in Decatur County south of Greensburg.
Visitation will be at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg, from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Living Word Ministries Church.
