Alfonso Aceves Sr., 84, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel.
Alfonso was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Fort Worth. He owned and operated Al's Trim Shop.
Survivors: Daughters, Belinda Hernandez and husband, Ernest, and Elizabeth Aceves; sons, Marshall Aceves, Johnny Aceves, Alfonso Aceves Jr. and Benito Aceves and wife, Dora; three sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
